At Obsession Kiting, we live and breathe kitesurfing! Founded by Megan and Shannon du Plessis, our kitesurfing school is built on a passion for the sport and a love for sharing the excitement of kitesurfing with others. Megan has been teaching kitesurfing since 2012 and brings a ton of experience and enthusiasm, while Shannon’s background with Hobie cats and business know-how make them the perfect team. Since 2017, we’ve been helping people dive into the thrill of kitesurfing here in South Africa!

Our core values are safety, passion, and community. We strive to provide our students with a safe yet exciting kitesurfing experience because the sport has given us an incredible quality of life. We believe that kitesurfing can significantly improve the quality of life for many of our students. Our goal is to teach Kite boarding in a way that our students become safe and independent kite surfers.
