This policy explains what personal information Obsession Kiting collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to comply with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect
We only collect what you actively send us. When you complete the enquiry form on this site, we receive:
- Your name and email address, which are required to reply to you
- Your phone or WhatsApp number, if you provide it
- Where you are travelling from, your dates, your experience level, group size and what you are interested in, if you provide them
- The content of your message
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your details with third parties for marketing.
Why we collect it
Solely to answer your enquiry and to arrange lessons, rentals or training with you. If you become a customer we keep the correspondence so we have a record of what was agreed.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to two years, after which they are deleted. Booking correspondence is kept for as long as we need it for our records and to meet legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
Nobody, other than the service providers that make the website and our email work — our web host and our email provider — who process it only on our behalf. We will disclose information if we are legally required to do so.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we use website analytics, it is configured to measure aggregate traffic only and not to identify individual visitors. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to ask us to delete it. Email info@obsessionkiting.co.za and we will action it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and enquiry submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 18. If you are booking a lesson for a child, the enquiry should come from a parent or guardian.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
